Every time I try to run away,
They keep catching up to me.
Every time I try to dodge away,
They keep hitting me.
And whenever I shield myself,
They uncover me before doing more damage.
Every raindrop I see in the air and on the ground,
They are tears that have fallen from my eyes
Caused by every words they have said to me:
“Worthless, Hopeless, Not Good Enough;
“She doesn’t belong here;
“Who cares about her?
“She needs to die.”
Every thunder I hear all around me,
They are screams and cries coming from me
Caused by every torment they have done to me:
Hitting, Beating, Kicking and Throwing;
Making bruises on my bones;
Making cuts bleed on my skin;
Leaving me dying on the ground.
Every lightning I see right in the dark skies,
They are memories coming to haunt me
So they can keep bringing me more despair:
Abuse from every adult and peer I know;
Betrayal from friends who hated me this whole time;
Heartbreak and forsaken by former loves;
Causing more harm to me until I’m dead.
Now… the hail is next.
Every hail I see,
As the rain, thunder and lightning appear,
They are everything;
From every tears I screamed and cried
To every emotional abuse I suffered;
From every physical abuse I’m agonized
To every haunting memories I see,
The hail are all of the above
I tried to dodge and run away from.
Sadly, there is no luck.
They have broken my shield;
Glass of Protection being shattered into pieces
Until there is nothing to save me.
With no protection,
They keep coming to break every part of me more.
With nothing else to save me,
Nothing to dry the raindrops;
Nothing to silence the thunder;
Nothing to blind the lightning;
I have no way out of this.
It is time for me to suffer fate;
Time to suffer what I truly deserve.
With more stones dropping from the skies…
I am now brutally broken and damaged
By the hailstorm… a hailstorm
That will soon be the cause of my death,
Death that will be life taken by my own.
