September 2016: Warrior

As someone with previous suicidal thoughts, I would like to inform that September 2016 is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

With this message standing by my side at all times, I know that I am never alone. If you ever feel the need to cry for help, don’t be afraid to call the hotline (1-800-273-TALK).

Suicide is never the answer. Not only you are breaking yourself from the world in a tragic way, you are breaking the hearts of your loved ones. Please know that there are people around you who love and care about you.

I have been where you are. When I was suicidal, my heartbroken distress had broken my parents’ hearts. The very last thing I want is to see my parents and the rest of my closest relatives break down into tears with broken hearts. I hate to see shattered glass mixed with raindrops. Because of this, I knew that I made the right decision to seek help.

Ever since then… I became a warrior. I became stronger than ever as I resume my quest to get the help I need. As I continue to grow, I became stronger than I expected.

If I can remain strong and battle all my suicide demons, I know you all can, too. Please note that it is never your fault. I know that I am not the only warrior here. You are all warriors to me and you’ll always will be.

Stay strong, loves.
