As a Brooklyn girl living with major depression, Borderline Personality Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, combined with stress and anxiety, I prefer to space out in my own fantasy world. That way, I can escape from every unwanted that could trigger any of these above.
Whenever you’re feeling depressed, down, hopeless, or even stressed and anxious, put yourself in a place where you want or love to be. Find your own escapism by taking a stroll around and stare at the scenery; or maybe read a book outdoors underneath a shady tree and put yourself into that story’s fantasy. Your escapism will come true as long as you find your desirable place. ๐
Sure the world out there is all bullshit to every one of us, but it’s part of life. That doesn’t mean we should be miserable forever. We should at least try to find a healthier way to live until we die naturally.
