Autumn Leaves

The night to remember
When we fall in the forest.
The lumberjack has the axe;
Should I be afraid or satisfied?
Together, our branches touch,
Yours against my bark,
Sending the breeze to me.
The hummingbirds fly,
The woodpeckers stand and stab,
My, how the vibrations happened.
As the air get cooler after heat,
The clouds gets heavy and soaked;
It means I’m enjoying the pain.
How deeply masochistic I am
When your splinters stab through me.
Waiting for the tree sap to run,
It thickens as it sweetens.
Let the woodpeckers keep stabbing their beaks
Until the tree sap comes into full.
If my leaves changes colors
From green to red,
Then you know I am satisfied.
