Insania

This isn’t a tongue in cheek.

This isn’t smoke and mirrors.

This is really happening;

I don’t know what’s going on.

I don’t know what’s happening to me.

I know I’m transforming into something.

There is blood all over me.

There is a dagger in my hand.

Screams are coming from me and them

But no one can hear us.

I have become a monster, inside out.

They’re living inside my head,

Crawling everywhere, consuming me alive.

They’re telling me things in my ears,

Telling me what to do. Bloody massacre.

Spiders are crawling out of my skin,

Shedding and bleeding until there only bone.

Ghosts and monsters are watching me,

Attacking me, dragging me underground.

Should I pull the trigger in my head?

Should I rip myself apart?

Should I bleed to nothingness?

What should I do? How do I get them out?

Help me! Get me out of this nightmare!

Please, don’t lock me up

With a straight-jacket.

I just need to get out of this place.

Somebody is watching me by the window.

I know I’m not drowning myself in alcohol,

I can see them watching me.

Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Hellraiser,

Michael Myers, Jigsaw, Hannibal Lecter,

Samara, The Grudge, Carrie and Norman Bates;

Ghostface, Leatherface, and even Jack Torrence.

Every one of them want me.

They all want to control me, to take me

Into the world of Bloody Mary.

Everyone is dragging me into

My final destination.

They’re taking me into Insania.

Once I go in, I cannot get out.

I’ll be forever trapped into

Insania.
