Sir Manic

Stoplight, stoplight.

Why must you interfere with me?

Why must you take over me?

Is this even necessary?

Your anger, it’s attacking my happiness.

Your sorrow, it’s attacking my laughter.

And your drug, it’s poisoning me.

Such emotion massacre you’re creating.

You made me do things, I regret.

Things I never meant to do.

Guilt… so much guilt,

All thanks to you.

I feel like a hopeless marionette,

A marionette being controlled by you.

You have interfered with me at everything.

My emotions, my actions, even my mind.

Thanks to you, I have two personalities.

One that is my real side of innocence

And the other is you, Sir Manic.

Stoplight, stoplight.

Thanks to you, I am alone.

I despised being around with everyone

And everyone despised to be around with me.

You ruined me. You ruined my life.

I am afraid now, I am afraid of you and everyone.

Even my own family.

I also can’t rely on anybody.

You abused me into not trusting and forgiving everyone.

I’m a loner now.

Thanks a lot, Sir Manic.

Stoplight, stoplight.

The words you forced me to say.

The actions you forced me to do.

The emotions you forced me to feel.

Why must you be abusive and manipulative?

What did I ever do to you?

You’re a wife-beater to me.

You’re a tormentor, an abusive partner.

You made me homicidal and suicidal,

All part of your conspiracy

To massacre my happiness and sunshine,

Even myself.

You made me delusional as well.

All the lies you have told me.

You said they hate me, and

You said they want me to die.

In reality, they want to help me

And you made me let them down.

You made me say things in anger and rage.

You fucked up big time.

They’re afraid of my rage now.

I tried to fight you, Sir Manic,

With poison, like Lexapro and Abilify,

But you are too strong.

Every dose I take, you just keep coming back.

I failed you, I failed you for the last time.

Stoplight, stoplight.

You pushed me over the edge of suicide.

I severely abhor you.

I wish I never even met you,

Sir Manic.

Stoplight.
