Glass Bones and Paper Skin

I may be an ugly duckling

But I will turn into a beautiful swan

I may be the runt of the litter

But I will grow to be strong

My mirror may be shattered

My window may be broken

I can still see myself clear as day

I know I am not frozen

Don’t push me down

I’m getting up from the ground

Like Demi the Skyscraper

I don’t need you fakers

Just because, just because

I have glass bones

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to break me with stones

Just because, just because

I have paper skin

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to rip me with a pin

If you demolish my skyscraper

Then you are a hater

I may be smoke and mirrors

But I know I won’t disappear

I may be a fish out of water

But I’ll survive when it’s clear

Don’t push me down

I’m getting up from the ground

Like Demi the Skyscraper

I don’t need you fakers

Just because, just because

I have glass bones

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to break me with stones

Just because, just because

I have paper skin

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to rip me with a pin

If you demolish my skyscraper

Then you are a hater

So don’t deny

Don’t you lie

You want me to die

By wrecking balls

Collapse my walls

Break it all

No matter what happens to me

I’ll still be okay

Just because, just because

I have glass bones

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to break me with stones

Just because, just because

I have paper skin

Doesn’t mean, doesn’t mean

You have to rip me with a pin

If you demolish my skyscraper

Then you are a hater
