My insane business idea would be owning a shop that is part bookstore, part coffee shop, and part cupcake bakery.
For the bookstore part, it will contain labyrinthine floor-to-ceiling shelves of best-seller books, both fiction and nonfiction.
The coffee shop part, I would have baristas making different types of coffee, from black to lattes, from cappuccinos to macchiatos, basically a Starbucks, and it will provide complimentary dairy-free choices.
Finally, for the cupcake bakery part, it will provide baked-by-scratch cupcakes with a myriad of different flavors, especially red velvet, my favorite.
I love books, coffee, and cupcakes, hence the reasons why I dreamed of opening all three in one building, where people can enjoy a cup of coffee and a cupcake as they read books they’d browse and purchase.
If I can come up with a name for this business, it would be called “Nix’s Triple Threat.”
