Poison Love

Our moments that we’d never forget

The scent of our burning cigarettes

The taste of bitter gin and tonic

Our hearts beating bio-mechanics

The songs of Nirvana were playing

The cries of rock and roll singing

Our bodies bare under messy sheets

The movements when our parts meet

You became suddenly pleasured

Unfortunately, I had lost my treasure

I was unable to be satisfied

All I felt was a painful vice

Yet, you urged me to comply

Suddenly, I commenced to cry

The way you brought me force

There were no signs of your remorse

I remained vulnerable of your rape

Things then turned out not so great

The combined sounds of our wars

I don’t want jack and beer anymore

You were the black widow to my prey

When you paralyzed me while I decayed

You then shoved me on your couch

You remained forceful with your touch

The force in you brought me more pain

I commenced to scream in the rain

The screams continued to echo

You silenced me as you go

Overboard with the emotional torture

I then became very sure

That this was not the love I wanted

This poison love became more haunted

All the shame you have brought to me

You claimed I was too fat and ugly

You then played the mind games

While I commenced to feel ashamed

By your venomed words and insults

You made me assume it was all my fault

Proclaiming I was never satisfied

By you with your toxic vices

You resumed with your torment

Your manipulation without my consent

Your mind is full of cocaine and heroin

As you remained inside of my skin

The toxicity in between us two

There was no love, just a feud

I did not know what I was thinking

Falling in love with you in the beginning

There was nothing but poison love

Our romance became a toxic drug
