What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
The legacy that I want to leave behind is becoming one of the first Asian-American and/or nonbinary authors to ever become a literary laureate.
I just hope that my books will make bestsellers some day in the future.
That way, I can bring awareness to mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. My goal is to attract a larger audience who went through mutual mental health issues as I do.
I also want to spread awareness against Asian American and LGBTQ discrimination. Most of my books are about the struggles of being Asian in a dominantly American society and the beauty and struggles of same-sex romance.
There are not a lot of authors out there who are queer, nonbinary, and Asian, such as I.
And I hope to become one of the first to ever become a laureate.
That will be my legacy I want to leave behind.
